AEC by-election guide arrives in Bradfield mailboxes
An Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) information guide on the Bradfield by-election is
now being delivered to households throughout the Bradfield electorate.
The Divisional Returning Officer for Bradfield, Yvonne Harrison, said The guide would
explain to electors what they needed to do to vote in the Bradfield by-election on Saturday,
5 December 2009.
It will show you where the 37 polling places on election day will be, how to correctly
complete your ballot paper and options for having an early vote if you cant vote on election
day.
The Bradfield by-election guide is also available online on the AEC website at
Election day for the Bradfield House of Representatives by-election is Saturday, 5
December 2009. Voting is compulsory for Australian citizens aged 18 years and over and
enrolled in the electorate of Bradfield.
The by-election will be conducted using the same electoral boundaries for Bradfield as used
at the 2007 federal election.
