The Australian Government is holding public information sessions throughout

regional Australia on 26 February about its Carbon Pollution Reduction

Scheme (CPRS).


A list of locations can be found below.


The sessions will include an introduction by the Minister for Climate Change,

Senator Penny Wong, and a presentation by a senior executive from the

Department of Climate Change, via a Sky Channel broadcast.

 

The presentation will provide information about the Carbon Pollution

Reduction Scheme, assistance to households and industry under the scheme,

the Climate Change Action Fund and a whole lot more.   


Although no-one from the Department will be physically present at the

presentation, participants will still be able to ask questions. A telephone

hotline will be open during the broadcast, with phones available at every

venue. People can also email questions in advance to

info@coomatechcentre.com.au


Seating is limited, so people interested in attending should register by phoning

1800 057 590, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 7:00pm AEST.
