Vietnam veterans TODAY by the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Alan Griffin.
The students and their families will be in attendance.
Long Tan Bursaries totalling more than $500,000 have been presented to 56 students across
Australia this year.
Long Tan Bursaries assist children of Vietnam veterans to pursue tertiary qualifications,
recognising that many have overcome personal family challenges to further their education.
The students are studying at the University of New South Wales, Newcastle University, Charles
Sturt University, the Academy of Applied Hypnosis at Lindfield, Western Institute of TAFE,
University of Western Sydney, and tertiary institutions in the ACT.
Minister Griffin and some of the recipients will be available for short interviews following the
