Service workers rate performance of ACT Government with giant First Anniversary Report Card

Canberra's service sector workers will mark the first anniversary of the current ACT Legislative Assembly by issuing an enormous Report Card assessing on the Government's performance over the past year.

The diverse group of workers including hospitality, child care, aged care, security and cleaning will come together today under the banner of their Union to rate Governments response on a range of issues important to workers in these industries.

The workers will use the following ratings scale:

5 Excellent The Government has delivered on its commitment
4 Good The Government has made a commitment and a timeframe for implementation
3 Fair The Government has made a commitment but there is no timeframe for implementation
2 Poor The Government is listening but no commitment has been given
1 Fail The Government has stopped listening
