Over 200 entries to fix NSW logo flood in
10 Aug 2009, Sydney Australia crowdsourcing website DesignBay has received over 200 entries in response to their unsanctioned NSW logo contest which still has 5 days left to run.
DesignBay (www.DesignBay.com) - who launched a $1000 unsanctioned contest in July to fix the NSW Government's botched 'lotus' logo - have received 203 logo design concepts from designers in 17 different countries. So far, entries have been received from designers in Australia, the US and the UK as well as Mexico, Russia and Indonesia. The two most popular designs have come from Australian designers.
The contest still has 5 days left to run and DesignBay expects to receive over 300 designs by contest close on 15 August 2009. DesignBay is offering to donate the best design to the NSW Government and will be approaching Nathan Rees with the results in the next fortnight.
