Ipart Recommends Overhaul Of State Taxes

The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) today released a draft report which recommends wide ranging changes to the NSW tax system.

The draft report emphasizes that there are limits to the reforms that a State can achieve on its own. The greatest gains will come through a national approach to tax reform requiring cooperation between the States and the Commonwealth.
