Cops meet to fight Federal Governments OH&S laws
Police officers from around Australian will meet in Canberra today to
launch a national campaign against the Federal Governments national
Occupational Health and Safety laws.
Police say the changes proposed by the government could lead to material
reductions in police safety and absolve the government of the responsibility
to provide police with the safest possible workplace.
These are the people charged with protecting our communities we cant
have them going out onto the streets, putting their lives on the line, without
adequate protection for themselves and their families, x said.
