WEDGETAIL THROUGH LIFE SUPPORT 

CONTRACT SIGNING CEREMONY 


What:      

Contract signing ceremony between the Commonwealth and

Boeing to provide through life support service for the RAAF’s

fleet of Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEWC)

aircraft.  


When:      

Tuesday, 19 January 2010 at 10:30am.  Media should assemble

at the main entrance at 9:45am. Photographic identification is

required to access the Base.  


Where:

RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW. 


Who:

Minister Greg Combet, senior Defence personnel and Boeing

executives.


Commonwealth representatives will be signing a contract for The Boeing

Company to provide five years of Through Life Support services for the

RAAF’s fleet of Wedgetail AEWC aircraft, which are being delivered

progressively to RAAF Williamtown.
