Operation incident in Afghanistan
What:
The Minister for Defence, Senator John Faulkner and the Chief of the
Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, will provide details
of an incident in Afghanistan involving the Special Operations Task
Group earlier today.
There have been a number of casualties. The ADF is currently
consolidating information from the area and will announce further
details when the facts are available and confirmed.
Available information will be provided at the Press Conference.
