Local Defence Supports the Big Roll 
 
What: 
Forty Army members from the Army Logistic Training Centre 
(ALTC), Albury Wodonga, and 4th Combat Service Support 
Battalion (4 CSSB), Wangaratta, will be volunteering as part of the 
Sir Roden and Lady Cutler Foundations BIG ROLL over a five 
days and will be available for interview prior / after their 
participation.  Volunteers from 4 CSSB will commence their 
wheelchair push from approx 10 kilometres South of Wangaratta on 
Sunday 25 July and will complete their push approx 10 Kilometres 
North of Wangaratta on Monday 26 July.  
Volunteers from ALTC will commence their wheelchair push from 
Chiltern to Albury on Tuesday 27 Jul and will be met by members 
of 4 CSSB approximately 5 kilometres South of Albury for a 
combined push with ALTC into Albury. The event will continue on 
Wednesday 28 July with volunteers from ALTC pushing the 
wheelchair through Gerogery, Culcairn and Holbrook. On Thursday 
29 July, ALTC volunteers will continue their support by pushing the 
wheelchair through Kyeamba, Tumbarumba, Batlow and Tumut.  
Police escorts will be provide as the Charity Wheelchair push 
travels through all towns within NSW.

Wangaratta, Chiltern, Albury, Gerogery, Culcairn, Holbrook, 
Kyeamba, Tumbarumba, Batlow and Tumut.

3 pm  4.30 pm, Sunday 25 Jul 
7.30  9.00am, Monday 26 Jul

In 2010 the BIG ROLL will see volunteers push a wheelchair from Perth to Sydney  
a distance of 4500 kilometres in just over 100 days. They departed Perth in late April 
and arrive in Sydney on 15 August.
