JOINT OPERATIONS COMMAND REMEMBERS ITS

FALLEN


What:      

Remembrance Day ceremony at HQJOC.


When: 

Wednesday, 11 November - 10.30am for 11.00 am


Where:

General John Baker Complex – HQJOC 


Who:

HQJOC personnel including representatives from Special Operations

Command, Maritime Operations including Submarine Operations, and

Air and Space Operations.


Headquarters Joint Operations Command will commemorate Remembrance Day with

a service and the dedication of a memorial for the 29 Australian Defence Force

personnel who have died on operations in the ten years since the original headquarters

was formed.


Media note:

Due to security restrictions, please meet LTCOL Michael Harris at the entry gate at

10.30am – where access passes will be arranged. Media will not be able to gain access

after 10.50 am.


Media wishing to attend are asked to register with Defence Media Liaison by 17:00

today.
