Defence Force Recruiting creative advertising contract 


The Department of Defence has today announced the outcome of an exhaustive

tendering process for creative advertising services, undertaken in accordance with

legislative regulations and inter-departmental policies.


George Patterson Young & Rubicam (GPY&R) is the successful tenderer for the

provision of creative advertising to Defence Force Recruiting (DFR), one of the most

innovative and successful recruiting organisations in the country. 


The Creative Advertising Agency Request for Tender (RFT) was released to a list of

potential tenderers from the Department of Finance and Deregulation’s

Communications’ Multi User List on 2 December 2009 with responses closing on

29 January 2010.  


The $6.93m (including GST) contract commences on 1 July 2010 and is for an initial

term of three years.


Defence looks forward to working with GPY&R to continue to achieve effective and

innovative advertising outcomes for DFR.
