ANZAC DAY FLYPAST



WHAT:

Three F/A-18 Hornets will conduct a flypast over the Australian War

Memorial as part of ANZAC Day commemorations.


WHEN:

Approximately 11.44am on Saturday, 25 April 2009, at the conclusion

of the National ANZAC Day Ceremony. Please note that the timing of

the flypast is dependent on the finish time of the veterans’ march.


WHERE:

The Hornets will track from the south-west of Canberra over

Parliament House, Lake Burley Griffin and ANZAC Parade on descent

to 1000ft for the flypast of the parade at the Australian War Memorial.

The formation will depart to the east passing directly over Mount

Ainslie.
