Air Force balloon to support the Brindabella Christian College Fete
The Air Force Balloon, operated by Central Flying School, will support the
Brindabella Christian College Fete by providing tethered rides at Brindabella
Christian College, Lyneham, ACT, this Saturday.
Weather-permitting, tethered flight is planned at Brindabella Christian College,
Saturday 8 May 2010, from 10am until approximately 2pm.
Squadron Leader (SQNLDR) Phil O’Donnell will pilot the balloon, supported by a
crew comprising four Air Force reservists.
While tethered, the Balloon will conduct continuous short flights for event attendees
to a height not exceeding 20 metres.
Media note:
All ballooning activities are heavily dependent on good weather. Interested media
