WARREN SNOWDON MP Minister for Defence Science and Personnel Monday, 06 April 2009 047/2009 MEDIA ALERT $32.5 MILLION IN DEFENCE HOUSING CONSTRUCTION BEGINS IN BRISBANE Federal Member for Brisbane Arch Bevis will view the start of construction of new Defence houses as part of the Nation Building – Economic Stimulus Plan. Upper Kedron will be home to 41 new houses, with another 62 homes to be built in the Brisbane region as part of the Stimulus Plan Mr Bevis will discuss the opportunities for the region through an increase in housing construction activity. The homes will be provided to Australian Defence Force personnel and their families who are posted to the area. Mr Bevis will represent the Minister for Defence Science and Personnel, Hon.
